The secret swing of Paris ~ Paris Child & Family Photographer ~ Sarah Gardan Photography

If you’re a Mummy in Paris you know how impossible it is to find a swing here. So you can imagine how excited I was to discover Paris does actually have a swing in the little park right beside Notre Dame (thanks Heather!). What a perfect place for a photo session with little Emily for her second birthday photos. I was lucky enough to photograph Emily when she turned one so, it was so fabulous to see her again and see how much she has grown.              (Wow, they sure do change in a year don’t they?) Emily just adores swings and so this little park has fast become one of her favourite parks in Paris. Isn’t she a cutie pie!

Emily was pretty keen to be on the swing (for most of the session actually) and even her precious ‘dou dou’ had some fun too.

Emily, I hope you have a wonderful 2nd birthday this week and may your vacation to the USA be a good one, full of many more adventures  (and a few more swing rides too!).

What a little sweetie! I love the one with the flower, but she is adorable in the smiling one on the swing, too. Her eyes are just beautiful. You really captured the joys of being two - swinging and hanging out with dou dou!

Sarah, you’ve done it again!! Perfectly captured Emily as she turns two (just like you did when she turned one!). We’re so glad to have a great picture of her and Peter Rabbit, and that you could capture her eyes again for us. It will be torture waiting to see the rest of the portraits!!
I’ve said it before–if you can get such amazing results when she’s having a terrible day, I can’t wait to have you photograph her when she’s in a good mood!! :) Thank you!!

OMG! I cannot believe how big “little” Emily is!!!! And how her hair has grown! My fave if the second one- the close up. Sarah, you do such a perfect job of capturing this beauty. I just love your work…of course you have the cutest little model ever…

I love the last one best! I would like to brag for a moment just to say that “I knew her when!” I met Emily and Co. when she was just 10 months old, when they first arrived in Paris, and I was fortunate enough to sit her so her mom could get stuff done…around the house! ;) Emily is adorable, yes, but her Beauty primarily stems from the fact that she has been given the most amazing Love and parenting I’ve ever witnessed. This kid will grow up to rule the world, so a note to the photographer: 1. nice work, and 2. you’re damn lucky to be photographing this little diva.
