Three years ago I met and photographed the beautiful Kate and her gorgeous little baby Emma. Isn’t she just SO beautiful pregnant!!
Over the years we ended up becoming great friends especially as both our little girls were the same age and at the same little halte garderie (daycare) in Paris. Kate became one of my Parisian besties. We’d have playdates together, meet for coffees, have fun with the kids at our local park, munch on delectable quiches from the local boulangerie, taste test the best macarons in Paris and our favourite was sitting down to a Saint-Honoré Rose Framboise at Ladurée (it’s a must do in Paris!!). I was thrilled when she told me that she was pregnant with her third baby. But it was bittersweet as it also meant that I would not be around to photograph her little newborn. I was so excited to hear the news that Kate has just had her gorgeous little baby, a second son Riley.
Kate & Alex, I am so happy for you and can’t wait to see your gorgeous family when I return in May. Enjoy those early newborn snuggles!!
