Part of the great thing about my job as a portrait photographer is I get to meet people from all over the world. Sometimes I photograph tourists visiting Paris, sometimes it’s francophiles who are returning to their beloved City of Light for a holiday or engagement, but my favourite photography sessions are usually with families who are actually living in Paris. It’s always great to capture families in and around all those fabulous locations around Paris. Having lived in Paris for 7 years as a family I was thrilled when I heard from some fellow Australians who were keen for a photo session of their family of five. Given I have three kids too I was excited to meet Sarah, her husband (from Sydney) and their kiddies. We met at the Luxembourg Gardens on a gorgeous Parisian day and spent the morning together..jpg)
Byron and Olivia were both super cute …
… and Byron had one of those cheeky little sparkles in his eyes with just the right amount of mischief.
Whilst Olivia struck me as being a very sweet and yet terribly smart little girl.
And of course ever happy Sophie who was such a delight. Isn’t she just gorgeous!And with the gorgeous autumn feel of the Luxembourg Gardens it was hard not to enjoy ourselves.During the session I was struck by what a fabulous big sister Olivia is and she was very gentle and caring of her little sister. Doesn’t darling Sophie look just like a pretty little doll.I always love capturing mums with their children as often it’s us mums who are too busy taking the photos so it’s a treat to get behind the camera with our precious people.And of course moments with dad are always good too.
