Les soeurs | Tuileries Family Photographer Paris | Sarah Gardan Photography

 A couple of weeks ago I had a children’s photography session at the Louvre & the Jardin du Tuileries here in Paris. It was one of the most energetic and fun sessions I have had. The girl’s mom wanted something a little different to my usual sessions, as she wanted the whole session in black and white and personally I was thrilled as it’s always great to push yourself in photography and try new things. The mom wanted the session to be very active, with lots of movement and I felt really blessed to be able to capture the’ spirit of them as sisters and individually. I was thrilled at the opportunity and I was really excited to meet ‘Les Soeurs’.

We had a little explore around the Louvre & Place de la Concord and it was fabulous as there weren’t too many people around.It was great fun chatting to the girls and getting to know them better. And they are both just lovely!

The girls have lived in Paris for a few years with their parents and will be moving back to the USA this summer so the photos will be fabulous keepsakes of their childhood in Paris.It was lovely for me to see how close the sisters are and to see the special bond that they share.And I felt really lucky to capture their little personalities.The photo session was great fun and moved pretty quickly as the girls both had oodles of energy.And were both full of giggles.

And it was great to capture them in motion (literally).And BIG CONGRATS to Mom for bringing some fun things for the girls to liven things up a little.I have to confess to LOVING Paris a bit earlier in the morning before the crowds arrive. It’s so peaceful and it was FABULOUS to have the place to ourselves.And let’s be honest it’s not a bad little backdrop is it?The Tuileries is a great place to take a moment from the hustle and bustle of the french capital, relax and feed the ducks (and the other little birds) as I’m sure children have been doing for several centuries.Dorothy, thanks for a great session with your girls and I really hope you like the sneak peek.
