I just LOVE to meet families who are on holiday in Paris and that’s exactly what I did this summer with Sherry and her wonderful family.

Sherry asked me to photograph her family, husband Andrew and daughter Nancy Charline, whilst they were having a summer vacation in Paris from Washington DC. The family had such a fabulous time  in the City of Light last year they decided to return again in 2012. I was thrilled to meet the family and I have to confess was completely enchanted by little Nancy Charline. At only two years old she is already such a delight. The day before our photo session at the Louvre,  the family had been at Chateau Versailles and as you can imagine Nancy Charline was beside herself with excitement about visiting such a beautiful castle. What a fabulous treat for a little girl to be a princess in a real life castle.

Both parents are terribly talented as Sherry is an opera singer and husband Andrew is a musician. And it was evident that being a performer is in the genes as little Nancy Charline showed me a few of her little ballerina steps. I have to say I was pretty impressed by her talent and it certainly made for gorgeous photos.

Sherry & Andrew, it was SO wonderful to meet you and to have the opportunity to capture the magic of your family and Nancy Charline is just DIVINE!! I’m looking forward to our paths crossing again in the future, either in France or perhaps one day in the USA. I really hope you like the photos and there are many more wonderful memories to come in your gallery really soon.
